Objectives:
- Anti-Ragging Committee will act as the Supervisory and the Advisory Committee in Preserving a Culture of Ragging –Free Campus.
- To keep a continuous watch and vigilance over ragging so as to prevent its occurrence and recurrence.
- To promptly and stringently deal with the incidents of ragging brought to our notice.
- To prohibit any conduct by any student or students whether by words spoken or written or by and act which has the effect of teasing, treating, or handling with rudeness a fresher or any other student.
- To create an atmosphere of discipline by passing a clear message that no act of ragging in college premises.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- To ensure compliance with the provisions of these regulations as well as the provisions of any law for the time being in force concerning ragging.
- To monitor and oversee the performance of the Anti-Ragging Squad in prevention of ragging in the institution.
- To consider the complaints received from the students and conduct enquiry and submit report to the Anti-Ragging Committee along with punishment.
- To monitor and oversee the performance of anti-ragging squad in prevention of ragging in the institution
- Displaying the charts and other material stating evil nature, punishment of Ragging and also student’s discipline.
- Creation of cordial and fee atmosphere
- Involving seniors and fresher’s jointly in value based cultural and other activities.
