About the ECE Department

The Department offers a B. Tech. program in Electronics and Communication Engineering. The Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) Department was established in the year 1997 with a sanctioned intake of 40 seats in B.Tech. Program In view of future demand in this field, the intake was enhanced subsequently and the present intake is 90. The department also offers Post graduate programs, M.Tech. (Digital Electronics and Communication Engineering) with intake of 36.

The faculty team consists of experts from the industry and academia. The department is highly praised for its activities in the technical front, contributing highly towards the development of cutting edge technologies and professionals. While building a solid foundation of the fundamentals, the students are also exposed to emerging trends in the industry and are molded to be quality professionals of the future. Electronics and Communication Engineering laboratories are equipped with state-of-the-art equipment and advanced software that enables the design of IOT (INTERNET OF THINGS). The department offers hands on training to the students to meet the requirements of industry through well-equipped and updated technological laboratories with state of the art equipment under the guidance of highly qualified, experienced and dedicated faculty.
